One of the most electrifying forces in contemporary crossover music, Rosie Frater-Taylor is a virtuoso guitarist, vocalist, and songwriter of remarkable emotional depth. Equal parts dedicated student of jazz guitar and admirer of iconic singer-songwriters, she seamlessly weaves rock, alt-pop, neo-soul, new-school jazz, and folk into her singular sound.
It is with great pleasure that we bring back the fabulous saxophonist and composer, Julian Costello. Julian has performed several times at The Spin over the years and has always wooed and wowed the audiences with his charming, lyrical, bamboozling saxophonic flights of fancy!
The Spin welcomes for the first time the genius all-round musician, Eddie Parker with his highly engaging band, ‘Airborn’, featuring the brilliant man-of-the-moment, Rob Luft on guitar!
The Spin is delighted to open the 2026 season with one of its favourite musicians; Roger has regularly blown away audiences at the Spin, dating back to the club’s very early days.
Firstly, The Spin would like to thank EVERYONE that has supported the club through 2025 and has kept it thriving and happening! Please continue to be a part of this, to keep it a place where the best musicians – from the UK and beyond – clamour to come and perform!…which brings us to the last gig of the year: a ‘supergroup celebration’ with this jazztastic outfit!
We welcome back to The Spin one of the most engaging trumpet players that the club has ever hosted: Paul Jordanous!
A regular on the Jazz, Funk, Pop and Soul scenes for the last 20 years, Paul has recorded on over 100 releases, including his own critically acclaimed debut album ‘And Now I Know’.
We welcome to The Spin the extraordinarily talented trumpeter, Alexandra Ridout with her band from New York!
Alex won the BBC Young Jazz Musician of the Year in 2016 and ever since, her star has been meteorically rising. She has now won numerous awards, including most recently, the ‘Next Jazz Legacy 2025 Award through New Music USA’.
We welcome back to The Spin, the UK’s hardest-working jazz musician – who also happens to be widely recognised as one of the greatest guitar players, the UK has ever produced: Nigel Price!
This has been too long coming: our welcoming back to The Spin of the MOBO-nominated, multi-BBC Jazz and Parliamentary Jazz Awards winner Tony Kofi with this hip and happening band, ‘Sharp Little Bones’!
A veritable super-group here, fronted by one of the most brilliant, versatile, virtuosic and appealing saxophonists on the planet: Paul Booth.
